Intimate couple's photoshoot with floral tattoos

The 3rd photoshoot concept from the Calling Creatives retreat outside of Seattle was an intimate couple’s shoot. The participating florists collaborated to make gorgeous textured floral tattoos for both models to wear on their body. We used bold, colorful flowers with some photos taken inside and some taken outside.

I love creating floral wearables and hope they become more integral to event design services. For the couple or other VIPs in a wedding, floral tattoos could be designed based on the style/cut of clothing for wrists, hands, shoulders etc. It could be a welcome alternative to wrist corsages. Floral jewelry could also be another modern alternative to traditional personal flowers which could include rings, necklaces, earrings or anything else. While I create all my wrist corsages on gold cuffs for a modern feel, I hope that continues to evolve into more interesting takes on the traditional corsage.

Lilia and Quinn were amazing models and they rocked the floral tattoos so well. I created the piece that Lilia wore across her rib cage as seen in the photo below. Our lead florists, Petals by Piper, sourced some lovely materials to work with that created nice texture and color in the tattoos.
