Issaquah wedding venue ideas

Treehouse Point is only 30 minutes from Seattle and is such a unique venue for woodsy, PNW wedding. The venue accommodates up to 80 people max, so it’s best for intimate to medium-sized weddings. We love smaller celebrations because they are super intentional with less guests to deal with, and you can really focus on all the beautiful details.

color palette ideas

A woodsy wedding at Treehouse Point definitely calls for earth tones. We love working with earth tones like terra cotta, caramel, and toffee. They might be traditionally considered autumn colors, but we think they can work anytime of year. Combine them with classic colors like ivory and hunter and you’ve got a timeless palette. Adding in the muddy, earthy tones will provide contrast and dimension in your designs, while still sticking with neutrals.

Still going with earthy browns and greens, but now we’re adding shades of blue for another natural element. This palette could really work anytime of year. Whenever blue is in a color story, we recommend bringing it in with other decor items since it’s a rare flower color. Try bringing in decor like linens, napkins, candles, and ribbon in shades of blue. If you’re having a summer wedding, we can utilize gorgeous sky blue blooms like nigella and delphinium.

This is the perfect palette for a cozy winter wedding—embracing shades of ivory, silver, and navy. Light grey blooms like silver brunia and early grey roses would be stunning but subtle. Pops of dark blue from anemones would be gorgeous and definitely give a wintery vibe. Pair your wedding bouquet with a navy silk ribbon for drama and contrast.

ceremony flowers

We love lush aisle meadows and this one is no exception. Flowers en masse are becoming popular in wedding party bouquets and in other designs, and for good reason! It’s a simple look and it mimics how flowers grow in nature. Having one flower variety en masse generally creates more visually impactful designs. We love this design with heirloom mums because it feels natural and right at home for a forest wedding. This would be the perfect aisle design for an intimate wedding at Treehouse Point. This design style can be utilized with any seasonal flowers and any color palette.

Reception flowers

For an intimate wedding, one long table for all your guests is the way to go. It feels super elegant and everyone can all sit together. We’re having a moment with moss right now and incorporating into allllll of our designs lately, whether it’s silvery Spanish moss or bright green sheet moss. Mossy elements would be right at home for an enchanted forest wedding at Treehouse Point. We love this minimalist, and whimsical floral runner using moss as a base.

Styling Ideas

We’re going to take the woodsy, natural elements of the forest to it’s logical extreme—and this time we’re thinking of place cards! For an intimate wedding at Treehouse Point, with one long table for guests at the reception, create place cards with natural elements that will fit right into the tablescape design and venue. We love these sweet stone place cards with each guest’s name beautifully written in gold script. It adds another gorgeous, natural texture to the table design.
