Kendall & Mike's engagement photoshoot
Real couple Kendall and Mike had a photoshoot two weeks before their wedding on a gorgeous horse farm in New Hampshire with a nod to Mike’s southern roots. Kendall rocked two different outfits in black and white with a bouquet and floral band on her cowgirl hat. The real star of the show was her trusty steed, Winston who adorned a garland full of greenery and baby’s breath.
Kendall was a pro in front of the camera and our photographer, Emily, captured the moment so perfectly on a warm summer night. I designed Kendall’s bouquet with warm, mostly neutral tones with a country chic feel. Perfect for an engagement or elopement in a rustic setting. I used mini gerbera daisies, cappucino roses, grevillea, statice, grevillea foliage, mums, gypsophila, nigella, hellebore and ninebark foliage.
Our star of the show, Winston, rocked a handmade garland around his shoulders with eucalyptus, grevillea, ninebark foliage, and baby’s breath for contrast. Garlands can be great pieces for all types of applications at events from farm table runners, to mantles and more. I love when garlands feature several types of foliage with different shapes and textures for maximum impact.
And here’s a few more glamour shots of the bouquet for good measure. I would love to create something similar for an elopement or casual backyard wedding. Perfect for someone who wants mostly neutrals with a bit of muted color.
